My kind of road trip…Palm Springs here we come!

A quick get away is healthy for the soul.  It re-energizes, relaxes and gets one out of their normal routine all of which are important now and then.  Exercising and eating healthy do not have to go by the wayside.  While on vacation a person is generally more relaxed, has more time on their hands and wants to feel great.  Always start your day with some type of exercise from running, power-walking, hiking, golfing, swimming or yoga.  Afterwards your body and mind will thank you!  Here is a photo of my early morning run in Palm Springs this past weekend:

 When eating out you don’t have to fall off the wagon.  This past weekend we went to the Village Pub in Palm Springs and here is what I LOVED:

Appetizer
Salmon Salad..YES at a pub!
Orange Sorbet for dessert

I came home feeling re-energized, re-focused and ready to tackle my week!!
