Circuit Training “Amy Approved” Style

Circuit training burns a TON of calories, saves you time and will lean you down like no other workout.  You don’t need a lot of equipment or even a gym member ship for that matter.  Here are a few sample circuit workouts that you can accomplish in 30 minutes or less:

Circuit #1 (Complete 3 sets of 12-15 reps)
Equipment: Ball, Dumbbells & Band
*Warm-up 5-10 minutes (just move…jog, air squats, jump rope, walk etc..)
*Superman’s to warm-up your low back

*Jump Lunges (20 reps)
*Pec Fly’s rolled out on ball (hips high, head like pillow on ball)
*Ball Crunches w/ weight at forehead

*Band Rows in a static squat position (band at chest level)
*Push-ups “V” Ups w/ shins on ball (hands on floor)
*Ball Taps (for obliques) seated on floor (legs up in air)

*Ball Hamstring Curls (lying on ground, feet on ball)
*Band Bicep Curls
*Tricep Push-ups on toes or knees

STRETCH

Circuit #2(Complete 3 sets of 12-15 reps)
Equipment: Ball, Dumbbells, Jump Rope & Band
*Warm-up 5-10 minutes (just move…jog, air squats, jump rope, walk etc..)
*Superman’s to warm-up your low back

*Reverse curtsy Lunges (one leg at a time SQUEEZE your gluts!)
*Push-ups Spider Man style (in the down position bring a knee to armpit)
*Band Swims (wrap band around something taller than you, keep your arms straight, butt out, chest high and pull straight down as if you are doing the breast stroke) SQUEEZE your lats!

Jump Rope x 100 jumps

*Plie Squat w/ db front raises ( in the down position raise the db’s to the front then lower)
*Burpee’s
*Ball Obliques w/ db

Jump Rope x 100 jumps

*Oblique Planks w/ Abduction (raise top leg 12 times w/o letting ankles touch)
*Tricep Dips on any chair or bench
*Jump Squats

Jump Rope x 100 jumps

STRETCH

Circuit train 2-3 times per week, clean up your nutrition and your body will begin to shape and tone like never before!  Circuit Training is “Amy Approved”!!!
