The Harper cookie jar

In my home you will always find a full cookie jar. A part of my love language for my family and friends is food. Preparing quality, whole, REAL food is something I spend a lot of time, resources and energy doing. The kids know that “mama Amy’s” cookie jar is always open and my husband enjoys one with his morning cup of coffee. This particular cookie jar has some family history. It came from Ben’s Grandma Vonnie’s home which probably makes it at least 75 years old. I continue to fill it with love and hope my recipes inspire you to do the same!!!!

Here are a few recipes that my family has been enjoying lately:

PB Cookies
1 cup organic peanut butter
3/4 -1 cup organic coconut sugar
2 organic eggs
Pinch sea salt
Pinch baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
OPTIONAL: 1/4 – 1/2 cup gf flour of your choice (corn, gf oat, rice) (a blend is awesome)

Cowboy Cookies
1 cup organic peanut butter
1 cup organic coconut sugar
2 organic eggs
Pinch sea salt
Pinch baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsps cinnamon
1/2 cup shredded raw coconut
1/4 cup(ish) GF sprouted oats

Optional add ins:
1/4 cup raw cacao powder
1/4 – 1/2 cup df chocolate chips (Santa Barbara Chocolate Company is my current fav!)

Mix everything in your Kitchen-aid until creamy and smooth. Roll into balls, place on a baking stone, press with a fork & bake at 350 deg
