Mother vs Daughter Energy Balls :)

A few weekends ago Charly and I set out a bunch of ingredients and had a competition who could make up an energy ball recipe, create them without measuring, give them a name and win the taste test with Daddy’s vote! Charly opted for a very sweet version while I opted for a high protein, high fiber (yet still delicious) version! Enjoy the recipes, be creative and use ingredients you enjoy!!

Charly’s Extra Energy Balls: (inspired by a 10 year old who is learning how to create her own recipes and loves sweet flavors!)
10 dates
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/4 cup Granola Butter (brownie batter flavor)
1/2 cup sprouted oats
1/4 cup raw honey
1/4 cup organic maple syrup
1 cup Chocolate Koala Crisp Cereal
1/2 tsp cinnamon extract
1/4 cup df chocolate chips
2 tbsps dye free sprinkles

Mama Power Balls: (inspired by a strong, fit, mama who needs extra protein & fiber to fuel her day!)
1 (firmly packed) cup dates
1/4 cup crunchy pb
1/4 cup collagen
1 tsp cinnamon extract
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 tbsp organic maple syrup
3 tbsps sprouted oats

Mix in a food processor, roll into balls and freeze on a parchment paper covered plate for 20 min. Once frozen transfer to a glass container and store in freezer.

In the end Charly’s energy balls won the vote, but in one week they ALL got eaten and everyone loved them both!!
