Hummus

Hummus is a great high protein, low calorie dip or spread that is super yummy & a great addition to any veggie! The garbanzo beans I used are from Eden Organic because all of their cans contain a BPA free lining 🙂

Ingredients:
1 can garbanzo beans – rinsed
2 cloves garlic
1/4 jalapeno (optional)
Juice of 1 lemon
tsp cold pressed grape-seed oil
Salt/pepper

Blend in Vita-mix for less than one minute.

You can make any kind of hummus you want. Here are a few ingredients you can add to yours: red pepper, olives or parsley.
