Dips!!!

This week I was craving new flavors on my food and wanted to surprise my fam with dips with their veggies for lunch so I decided to whip up both my avocado hummus (inspired by Hapy) and black bean dip. I LOVE dipping my protein (turkey, chicken, salmon), my vegetables and also topping my salads with a HUGE dallop to change things up!!! Both of these dips will last in the fridge for 5-7 days.

Avocado Hummus
1 can organic garbanzo beans (strained)
1/2 avocado
1 tablespoon organic olive oil
2-3 tablespoons organic tahini
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon onion powder
Juice of 1 lemon
Sea salt to taste

Black Bean Dip
2 cans organic black beans (strained)
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon organic olive oil
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 clove garlic
Sea salt to taste

Put all ingredients into your Vita-mix / blender and blend until CREAMY!!! Store in a glass container with a lid in the fridge.
