Fall is Here & Apples are in Season!!!


Amy’s Apple Crisp

5-7 apples, peeled (I left a few strips of peel)
Lots of Cinnamon
2 tbsps organic raw sugar
3/4 cup almond flour OR make your own (I used 3/4 cup raw almonds & blended them for 30 sec to make my flour)
1 egg

Peel apples & put them in the bottom of your pie dish.  Sprinkle with lots of cinnamon & 1 tbsp sugar.  Mix with your hands.  Blend your flour & put into a bowl w/ egg, cinnamon & 1 tbsp sugar.  Whip with a fork.  Mash the almond mixture onto the top of your apples.  Bake for 30 min at 350 degrees.

Serve warm – YUM!!!

If you are lucky enough to live on the Central Coast like we do go up to Gopher Glen (up See Canyon Rd) to buy your apples.  They have a TON of different apples you can try and really good prices.  Super fun way to get apples!  Kids will love it too 🙂
